Privacy, in plain words
The same register as everything else here: what we collect, why, and what happens to it, without a page of legal fog.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, a phone number, optionally an email address, your suburb, the kind of job, what the door is doing, and a photo if you choose to attach one. There are no accounts, no newsletters and no marketing lists on this site.
Why we collect it
For exactly one purpose: so a person can read your enquiry, understand the job, and call you back about it. The suburb tells us the run, the description tells us the likely work, and the photo saves you describing a bracket over the phone.
What happens to it
Your enquiry is stored securely and read by the people who handle the work. We may share your enquiry with a suitable local provider so your request can be serviced; that is the enquiry's whole journey, and it is never sold, rented or added to a marketing list. Attached photos are held on secure storage that automatically expires them after roughly thirty days; they exist to explain the job, not to build a file on you.
What we don't do
- No advertising trackers and no sale of your details to anyone.
- No SMS or email campaigns. Contact from us is about your enquiry, full stop.
- No asking for details the job doesn't need.
The technical bits, briefly
This site is served over an encrypted connection. There are no analytics or advertising scripts on these pages and we set no marketing cookies. The form's spam defence today is a simple hidden-field trap that collects nothing about you; when the site goes fully live we'll add Cloudflare's Turnstile bot check, which processes technical request details (such as an IP address) purely to tell humans from bots, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which involves your browser requesting those font files from Google; no other third-party services run on these pages.
Your choices
Want to know what we hold from your enquiry, or want it deleted? Say so through the enquiry form and it will be handled by the same person who'd handle the job. If Australian privacy law gives you a right we haven't described here, the law wins, happily.
This page was last reviewed in July 2026 and gets rewritten, not just re-dated, when anything about our handling changes.
